I Wish I Had These Sooner

My mother-in-law bought us these Safety 1st Booster Seats to use at her house and down at the cabin, and I absolutely love them! I wish I had these at home instead of the bulky high chairs.
The booster seat is simple to assemble and comes with a seat belt and two straps that secure around the seat of the chair and around the back of the chair. The tray swings out allowing you to put your child in the seat, and then snaps into place on the side. Once the child out grows the tray, it’s removable so that your child can sit up at the table.
I have read several bad customer reviews on these booster seats. Some were saying the tray came off easily and that the straps did not stay securely in place. I’ve been using these for a week now and have had absolutely no problems. I made sure the straps were snugly in place and they haven’t moved or loosened so far. I have a feeling Safety 1st might have made some improvements to the seat because mine do not look exactly like the one pictured, although they are very close.
The only downfall I see with these booster seats is that if you have a larger than average baby then they might out grow the the tray quickly. Although my girls fit into these nicely right now, I can see where many moms would be frustrated with the lack of space between the back of the seat and the tray.
Overall, I love these little booster seats. They are very light weight and I’m considering taking them with us next time we go out to eat. They are much more functional than the typical restaurant high chair, and the bottom of the seat has rubber grips so I imagine it would work nicely in a booth as well.

I couldn’t agree more. I use this with my 21 month old and it is perfect. Very sturdy and convenient. I love it.

My son uses a booster seat now rather than his highchair. He’s a rather large boy, so we take the tray off and scoot him to the table. We haven’t had any problems with them.

I have one similar for my 1 year old nephew that comes over all the time and he loves this. I am just going to keep it and use it for my own children, it is easy to put away when you do not need it and it is easy to install and take places. We have a condo in Rocky Point Mexico and I take it there as well. I love travel pieces
